Overview

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg (Berlin) – Hausmann (Linen Porter) (m/f/d)

We are expanding in Europe and have opened our first hotel in Germany in Berlin. We are looking for an experienced Hausmann (Linen Porter) to join our team. The Hoxton in Germany is home to 234 bedrooms, a ground floor restaurant, a coffee bar and streetside terrace, and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events concept. Reporting to our Assistant Head Housekeeper, you will provide brilliant and genuinely helpful customer service for every guest staying with us.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, ensuring they are cleaned to brand standards, well presented and maintained.
• Oversee the delivery and collection of linen and terry on a daily basis.
• Be responsible for stocking linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in stores, and ensure storage areas are clean and well maintained.
• Ensure guest floors are clean and well maintained at all times.
• Assist with other tasks to support the housekeeping team as required.
• Ensure all Health and Safety standards are adhered to and report breaches to the Head Housekeeper.
• Handle cleaning materials correctly and be aware of COSHH regulations.
• Attend all required training sessions.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even during challenging work, to find solutions.
• Provide the highest level of customer care with a friendly, helpful and responsive service for our guests.
