Your mission

As our Lab Technician, your mission is to keep our Berlin lab running safely, efficiently, and with scientific precision. You’ll take ownership of organizing daily workflows, managing procurement, and maintaining our analytical and process instruments in top condition. You’ll be a key pillar for our analytical work, ensuring the data we produce is reliable, high-quality, and trusted across the team. Key Responsibilities
  • Operations – ownership of daily lab organization, procurement, inventory management, and compliant waste handling.
  • Growth – contribution to scaling the lab’s capabilities through onboarding new team members, supporting setup of new instruments, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration across engineering and science teams.
  • Reliability – ensuring dependable instrumentation performance through regular calibration and maintenance, and safeguarding the accuracy and consistency of experimental data that underpin trusted results.
  • Safety – upholding and continuously improving lab safety standards while promoting accountability and best practices across the team.
Your profile
Skills and Experience
  • Technical diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or relevant certification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related fields
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on lab management and organization.
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and processes, including preparing solutions and handling chemicals.
  • Basic understanding of data interpretation, calibration records, and quality assurance principles to ensure data reliability.
  • Safety Awareness: Demonstrated commitment to maintaining safe lab practices and compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in lab record‑keeping and maintenance.
