Job summary

meteocontrol GmbH in Berlin is seeking a qualified engineer to design and lead plant-specific monitoring and feed-in management solutions for utility-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid power plants in Germany and abroad. You will own projects from order to handover, ensuring scope, budget, schedule and quality targets are met.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, automation, or related areas.
• Interest in project management and industrial monitoring systems.
• Self-driven, hands-on approach with problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of stakeholder management.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop monitoring and feed-in management solutions for PV, BESS, and hybrid plants.
• Own projects from order to final handover to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery meets scope, budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Lead and coordinate change management across the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Proposals during pre-sales.
• Create technical concept drafts and proposals.
• Assist Sales with project contracts.

• Design and develop plant-specific monitoring and feed-in management solutions for utility-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid power plants in Germany and international markets
• Take full ownership of projects from order to completion and final handover to customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure successful project delivery with regard to scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives
• Lead and coordinate change management activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical expertise and support to Sales and Proposal Management during the proposal phase (pre-sales)
• Create technical concept drafts and proposals
• Support the Sales department in the preparation of project contracts
• Serve as the link and figurehead between customers and meteocontrol

Your profile:

• A degree or vocational training with at least 2 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable field
• Additional experience in project management or knowledge of industrial communication, monitoring, and control systems would be an advantage

• Enthusiasm for technical challenges and complex problem‑solving
