Zusammenfassung

Sungrow in Berlin is seeking a Project Manager to lead a strategic solar and energy storage project, coordinating stakeholders, customers, and on-site teams across Germany. You will travel up to 50% within Germany, be on site in the Berlin area 2–3 times per week, and manage scope, timelines, costs, quality and documentation in line with PMO standards while safeguarding contractual obligations.

• Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or technical infrastructure.
• Fluent German (C1) and English (C1), both written and spoken.
• Experience managing customer contracts and delivery in scope, schedule, cost, quality and contractual obligations.

• Lead complex IT implementation projects in an e-commerce environment from planning through go-live and early operations.
• Coordinate project activities with customers, project managers, internal teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

• Drive clear, proactive communication and resolve project-related issues efficiently across internal and external teams.
• Travel up to 50% within Germany to support site activities, customer meetings, and project delivery.

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in project management within solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or technical infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience managing customer contracts and ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, schedules, costs, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Experience coordinating project activities from purchase order through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, milestone tracking, quality management, reporting, and technical project documentation.
• Knowledge of PV inverters is preferred; experience with energy storage systems is a strong advantage.
• EPC experience, including collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and on-site teams, is preferred.
• Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at C1 level, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany.
• Ability to be on site in the Berlin area two to three times per week.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.
