Sungrow is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives across Germany, with on-site presence in the Berlin area two to three times weekly. You will coordinate customers, internal teams, and contractors, driving schedules, risks, costs, and quality in line with PMO standards.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least five years of project management experience in solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing customer contracts and delivering within scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Experience coordinating from PO through delivery, commissioning and handover.
• Strong planning, risk, milestone tracking, quality management, reporting, and documentation.
• German C1 and English C1, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany.
• On-site presence in Berlin area 2-3 times per week.

Your mission

Hallo und herzlich willkommen bei Sungrow! We are excited to welcome a Project Manager who will help deliver a strategic Sungrow project and connect project stakeholders, customers, and on-site teams across Germany. Curious what this is all about? Let's dive right in:

• Lead the successful delivery of a strategic Sungrow project from planning through execution and handover.
• Coordinate project activities with customers, customer project managers, internal teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Be present on site in the Berlin area at least two to three times per week to ensure close project alignment.
• Manage project schedules, risks, quality, costs, documentation, and key milestones in line with PMO standards.
• Drive clear, proactive communication and resolve project-related issues efficiently across internal and external teams.
• Travel up to 50% within Germany to support site activities, customer meetings, and project delivery.

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in project management within solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, EPC, or technical infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience managing customer contracts and ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, schedules, costs, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Experience coordinating project activities from purchase order through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, milestone tracking, quality management, reporting, and technical project documentation.
• Knowledge of PV inverters is preferred; experience with energy storage systems is a strong advantage.
• EPC experience, including collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and on-site teams, is preferred.
• Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at C1 level, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany.
• Ability to be on site in the Berlin area two to three times per week.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.
