Job summary

Responsibilities

• Bereitstellung und Upgrade von Softwarepaketen sicherstellen.
• Infrastruktur gemäß OLA/SLAs betreiben.
• Systemleistung gegen SLAs überwachen und berichten.
• Verbesserungen/Obsoleszenz dem IT-Product-Manager kommunizieren.
• ITIL-basierte Support-Prozesse (Incidents, Problems, Changes, Config, Events) durchführen und steuern.
• Fehleranalysen, Diagnose und Korrekturmaßnahmen bei Systemausfällen; Eskalationen koordinieren.
• System-Backups überwachen und sicherstellen.
• Technologien/Prozesse identifizieren, um Zuverlässigkeit und Verfügbarkeit zu erhöhen.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as an IT Operations Manager - IT Software Engineering (m/f/d) in Taufkirchen.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensures the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades
• Maintains the infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLAs
• Monitors and tracks system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Communicates improvement, updates and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager
• Performs the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
• Analyses console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed
• Supervises system backup processing
• Identifies and implements technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems
• Very good knowledge of configuration management tools and how they work is essential
• Proficient in the use of Linux (Server and workstation) is a must have
• Proficient in the use of Windows (Server and workstation) is required
• Working knowledge of any of the following systems would be an advantage: Redmine, Sapienza Eclipse, Subversion, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
