Job summary

Airbus Operations GmbH is seeking a Program Operational Manager (m/f/d) in Hamburg/Fuhlsbüttel via Orizon. The role focuses on spares demand forecasting, stock management, and improving material availability to boost customer satisfaction and competitiveness.

You will work with stakeholders, monitor KPIs, manage risks and opportunities, and contribute to future-focused initiatives in a dynamic aerospace environment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed degree with a focus on Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or similar fields.
• Work experience in Configuration Management, Scheduling / Materials Procurement, Customer Service, Supply Chain/Logistics, Contract Management.
• Knowledge of Project Management, SAP, Google Workspace, skywise.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Anticipating spare parts needs and mitigating risks for cash exposure and stock management.
• Industrialize and provide solutions to improve material availability and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to transversal initiatives preparing the future (DDMS, Sustainability, Processes, e-RSP Material speculation).
• Cooperation with stakeholders to build background knowledge for timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Performance monitoring (KPI, milestones tracking), controlling and reporting.
• Risk and opportunity management.

Your responsibilities:

• Anticipating spares parts needs and mitigating associated risks for the company such as cash exposure and stock management through proactive approach
• Industrialize and provide solutions to improve Material availability and to improve customer satisfaction while strengthening competitiveness
• Contribute to transversal initiatives preparing the future (DDMS, Sustainability, Processes, e-RSP Material speculation)
• Cooperation with stakeholders to build-up profound background knowledge on relevant data providing a timely and proper reporting to stakeholders

Your profile:
