Job summary

Orizon GmbH sucht für den renommierten Kunden Airbus Defence and Space einen HMI Software Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d) am Standort Manching. Sie integrieren das HMI-System in verschiedene Testumgebungen, konfigurieren Geräte und treiben Tests zur Systemintegration voran.

Zu Ihrem Profil zählen fundierte Kenntnisse in Informatik/Aerospace, Linux-Administration, sowie Erfahrung mit CI/CD, Testautomatisierung und modernen Integrationsmethoden.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder vergleichbar.
• Viele Jahre Berufserfahrung in IT/Information Technology und Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik.
• Erfahrung in Software-Integration und Software-/Systemverifikation, inkl. Testdesign, -durchführung und -Automatisierung.
• Erfahrung mit militärischen Flight-Training-Geräten oder -Simulationen von Vorteil.
• Gute Linux-Kenntnisse inkl. Kommandozeile, Systemkonfiguration, Software-Installation, Ser...
• Verständnis moderner Softwareentwicklungs- und Integrationsmethoden (Agile, CI/CD, Containerisierung, Testing, Debugging).
• Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Responsibilities

• Integrieren des HMI-Subsystems mit anderen Systemkomponenten in Tests und Zielgeräten.
• Sicherstellen korrekter Konfiguration und nahtloser End-to-End-Betrieb.
• Aufbauen, Konfigurieren und Warten von Testgeräten und Umgebungen inklusive Software-Deployment.
• Analyse von Integrationsproblemen und Koordination mit Subsystem- und Software-Teams.
• Definieren, Implementieren und Durchführen von Tests zur Verifikation von HMI-Funktionalität und Systemintegration.
• Entwickeln, Warten und Verbessern automatisierter Tests und Testinfrastrukturen.
• Erhöhen der Testabdeckung, Wiederholbarkeit und Effizienz.
• Dokumentation von Testergebnissen und Integrationsstatus.
• Beitragen zur Anforderungsanalyse durch Prüfung und Ableitung verifizierbarer Testfälle.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as HMI Software Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

• Integrate the HMI subsystem with other system components on various test environments and target devices
• Ensure correct configuration and seamless end-to-end operation
• Set up, configure, and maintain test devices and environments, including software deployment, device configuration, and troubleshooting
• Analyze and resolve integration issues, coordinating with the responsible subsystem and software teams
• Define, implement, and execute tests to verify HMI functionality, system integration, and compliance with requirements
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated tests and test infrastructure
• Increase test coverage, repeatability, and efficiency
• Analyze test results, investigate and document failures
• Contribute to requirements engineering by reviewing, refining and clarifying requirements, band deriving verifable test cases and acceptance criteria
• Maintain test documentation, verification evidence, and integration status
• Ensure transparent reporting of quality and project progress

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or comparable
• Many years of professional experience in IT / Information Technology and Aerospace Engineering
• Experience in software integration and software/ system verification, including test design, test execution, and test automation
• Experience in military flight training devices, or military flight simulation systems is advantageous
• Strong user with Linux administration, including command-line tools, system configuration, software installation, serice management, permissions, networking, and log analysis
• Good understanding of modern software development and integration methodologies (Agile, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, testing, debugging)
• Very good user skills in Python
• Skills in automated testing frameworks (e.g. Qt Squish)and with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, XRay) is advantageous
• Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
