Job summary

Galaxus Deutschland GmbH sucht einen IT First-Level Supporter für den Logistikstandort Neuenburg am Rhein. Sie sind der erste Ansprechpartner bei IT-Hardwareproblemen im Logistikbereich und unterstützen Mitarbeitende, damit die Abläufe reibungslos funktionieren.

Sie arbeiten im Zwei-Schicht-Betrieb (05:00–23:00, Sa 05:00–18:00). Vorfälle werden vor Ort gelöst oder an die entsprechende Stelle weitergeleitet; Sie fungieren als Bindeglied zu externen Partnern.

Qualifications

• Grundkenntnisse von IT-Hardware, Netzwerken und IT-Systemen in einer Logistikumgebung.
• Praktische Erfahrungen mit Endgeräten: Scanner, Etikettendrucker, Handheld-Terminals, industrielle Hardware.
• Fähigkeit zur Diagnostik, Reset, Verkabelung und einfachen Konfigurationen.

Responsibilities

• Erster Ansprechpartner für IT-Hardware-Vorfälle auf der Logistikfläche.
• Wissen und Verfahren mit Logistikmitarbeitern während der Fehlersuche teilen.
• Vorfälle direkt vor Ort lösen oder Staff an Eskalationspfad leiten.
• Als Ansprechpartner vor Ort für externe IT-Partner bei Notfällen fungieren.
• IT-Hardware für neue und bestehende Arbeitsplätze beschaffen; Arbeitsplätze einrichten inkl. Verkabelung.
• Defekte Hardware austauschen.
• Mit dem 2nd Level Support zusammenarbeiten.

We are looking for a dedicated, quality-focused, and resilient IT First-Level Supporter to join our dynamic logistics site in Neuenburg am Rhein and help us make the most of its potential.

Working in a two-shift model (05:00–23:00 / Saturday 05:00–18:00), you'll be the first point of contact when unexpected IT issues occur. You'll help troubleshoot problems, support our employees, and make sure our operations keep running smoothly.

Aufgaben

• First point of contact for all IT hardware incidents on the logistics floor
• Share knowledge and procedures with logistics employees during troubleshooting, so recurring issues can be solved independently
• Resolve incidents directly on-site or guide staff to the correct escalation path
• Act as on-site liaison for external IT partners during Pickett/Blocker emergencies
• Procure IT hardware for new and existing workstations Set up workstations including physical cabling and network connection
• Replace defective hardware
• Collaborate with 2nd Level Support (System Engineers / ICT): upscale, implement, and validate proposed solution

Profil

• Basic understanding of IT hardware, networks, and IT systems in a logistics environment
• Practical experience with endpoint devices: scanners, label printers, handheld terminals, industrial hardware
• Ability to perform diagnostics, resets, cabling, and simple configurations
• Comfortable learning new tools quickly — formal deep expertise is less important than curiosity and adaptability
• A background or education in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in) is an advantage, but not mandatory
