Qualifications

• Universitäts- oder FH-Abschluss in relevantem Bereich oder gleichwertige Weiterbildung mit Erfahrung in Workforce Planning/Demand Forecasting.
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Erfahrung im Aufbau von Planungsmodellen.
• Erfahrung im Projektmanagement, idealerweise in Logistikprojekten.
• Fließend Deutsch und Englisch.

Responsibilities

• Design und Betrieb des Arbeitsplanungssystems des Logistikstandorts Neuenburg, Erstellung wöchentlicher Pläne anhand historischer Daten, Anwesenheit und Volumenprognosen
• Bereitstellung detaillierter wöchentlicher Staffing-Pläne und 21-Tage-Kapazitätstracking, Anpassung an Volumenänderungen und Downtimes
• Identifizieren von Kurzfristkapazitäten und Umsetzung von Lösungen
• Analyse saisonaler Volumenentwicklung und Abstimmung mit Rekrutierungszeiten für Ramp-up-Phasen
• Aufbereitung von Analysen und Entscheidungsvorlagen für den Site Lead
• Leitung kleiner bis mittlerer Logistikprojekte und Mitwirkung an größeren Initiativen
• Regelmäßige, transparente Updates zu KPIs, Produktivität und Kapazitätsauslastung

As our Manager Operations Planning, you\'re the person who makes sure the right people are in the right place at the right time. You build and run the labour planning system for our logistics site in Neuenburg, turning data into weekly plans that keep operations running smoothly. Your work sits at the crossroads of analytics, operational coordination, and project delivery.

• Design and operate the site\'s labour planning system, built on historic productivity data, attendance patterns, and volume forecasts
• Deliver a detailed weekly staffing plan and maintain a rolling 21-day capacity outlook, adjusting for volume shifts, planned downtime, and staff availability
• When gaps appear, you identify and activate short-term capacity levers — fixes that work now without creating headaches later
• Analyse seasonal volume trends and connect them with hiring lead times to build ramp-up plans for peak periods
• Prepare analyses, calculations, and decision material for the Site Lead: translating data into recommendations that are clear enough to act on
• Own small and medium-sized logistics projects from start to finish and contribute to larger cross-functional initiatives
• Keep stakeholders in the loop with regular, structured updates on KPIs, productivity, and capacity utilisation. No one likes surprises when it comes to numbers

Profil

• A degree from a university or university of applied sciences (Universität/Fachhochschule) in a relevant field, or equivalent further education combined with experience in workforce planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management
• Strong analytical skills, ideally backed by relevant training or certifications. You\'re comfortable building planning models and translating data into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience in project management, ideally in logistics or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Confident use of Excel and planning or BI tools. Experience with warehouse management systems or workforce scheduling tools is a plus
• You\'re solution-oriented, pragmatic, and a natural organiser. Your communication style is confident, open, and adapted to your audience
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
• Maintaining resilience and agility while adjusting strategies as needed
