Zusammenfassung

X-Rite International is seeking an Field Service Technician to support measurement systems across Europe and beyond. Expect installation, calibration, maintenance and user training at customer sites.

The role combines field work with office reporting in Martinsried near Munich; fluency in German and English, valid driving license, and a strong customer focus are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification.
• Proven or potential experience in technical field service or customer support.
• Proficient written and spoken German and English.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Ideally based in Munich, Augsburg or surrounding area.

Aufgaben

• Approximately 70% field service work at customer sites.
• Approximately 30% office-based work in Martinsried (reporting, documentation, data management, scheduling, customer communication).
• Support customers primarily across Europe (≈70%) and other regions worldwide (≈30%).
• Travel 3–4 days per week, occasional assignments up to two weeks.
• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and technical service on measurement systems.
• Install, set up, and commission systems at customer sites.
• Provide technical consulting and user training.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Act as primary technical point of contact for assigned service territory.
