Job summary

JOBSTODAY.WORLD is seeking experienced Service Technicians / Field Service Technicians (m/w/d) to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical servicing at customer locations across Germany.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience and be comfortable working independently at different customer sites, with a valid German driving licence. On-site and field-based positions offered across multiple locations in Germany.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in technical service, installation, maintenance, or repair.
• German language proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher, depending on client requirements.
• Valid German driving licence (Class B).
• Currently residing in Germany or legally authorised to work in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission equipment, machinery, and technical systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
• Diagnose technical faults and implement appropriate solutions.
• Travel to customer locations to complete installation and service assignments.
• Test equipment and verify correct operation after installation or repair.
• Read technical manuals, drawings, and service documentation.
• Identify technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with customers, colleagues, and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and technical standards.

About the Role

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical service, installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Strong practical skills and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused working style.
• German language proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher, depending on client requirements.
• Valid German driving licence (Class B).
• Currently residing in Germany or legally authorised to work in Germany.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
