Eton Bridge Partners Ltd is supporting a multi-billion euro, PE-backed international group with the appointment of an experienced Interim Group Technical Accounting / Financial Controller. The majority of the week will be spent at the HQ in Munich, Germany.

You will lead consolidation, prepare group statements, and support IFRS applications across the business while driving improvements in reporting and controls. Fluency in German and English is essential.

We are supporting a multi-billion-euro, PE-backed international group with the appointment of an experienced Interim Group Technical Accounting / Financial Controller. Operating within a large and complex international environment, the successful candidate you will support the delivery of accurate group financial reporting, technical accounting analysis, and the implementation of accounting standards across the business..

The expectation is that the majority of the week will be spent within the HQ in Germany.

The Role

• Support group consolidation and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities.
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and the application of IFRS across the group.
• Conduct technical accounting research and support the implementation of new and revised accounting standards.
• Partner with finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting queries and ensure compliance with group accounting policies.
• Support the year-end audit process and assist in maintaining robust financial controls and reporting processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in consolidation, reporting, and technical accounting procedures.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an established senior finance leader with:

• Significant Group Technical Accounting / Financial Controlling / Financial Reporting experience
• Strong grounding in IFRS, technical accounting, group reporting, or consolidation
• Experience within a large, multi-billion euro/GBP international organisation
• Ideally has a background in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or industrial technology environments
• Ideally has exposure to PE-backed, transformation or high-change environments
• Fluent German is preferable and fluent English is essential
