Eton Bridge Partners is advising an international, PE-backed group on appointing an Interim Head of FP&A. The role is senior, with responsibility for strengthening financial planning, forecasting and performance insight across a large, complex organisation.

The majority of the week will be spent at the HQ in Germany. The candidate will lead Group FP&A activities, oversee budgeting and long-range planning, deliver performance analysis and provide clear commercial insight to senior leadership,

Qualifikationen

• Senior FP&A leadership experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong forecasting, planning, performance management and analytical capability.
• Experience across industrial/engineering/manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Experience with multi-divisional, cross-border organisations is advantageous.
• PE-backed or transformation experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent German preferred; fluent English essential.

We are supporting a multi-billion-euro, PE-backed international group with the appointment of an experienced Interim Head of FP&A. This is a senior finance leadership role within a large, complex organisation, with responsibility for strengthening financial planning, forecasting and performance insight across the business. The expectation is that the majority of the week will be spent within the HQ in Germany.

The Role

Working closely with senior finance, operational and executive stakeholders, responsibilities will include:

• Leading Group FP&A activities
• Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Performance analysis and management reporting
• Providing clear commercial and financial insight to senior leadership
• Developing and improving FP&A processes, reporting and decision support
• Partnering with operational and divisional leadership across an international organisation
• Supporting transformation and PE value-creation priorities

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an established senior FP&A leader with:

• Significant FP&A leadership experience within a large, complex organisation
• Strong forecasting, planning, performance management and analytical capability
• Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing or industrial technology environments
• Experience working across a large multi-billion euro/GBP international and/or multi-divisional businesses
• Previous PE-backed or transformation experience highly desirable
• Fluent German is preferable and fluent English is essential
