• We are seeking a freelance Dari language instructor to provide individual private lessons in general communication for an adult learner in Magdeburg, starting on January 7, 2026.
  1. Student Information
  Age: 25–34
  Native Language: German
  Current Language Level: Complete beginner (no prior knowledge)
  Motivation:
  The student wishes to learn Dari in order to communicate with her Afghan partner in his native language and to surprise him by doing so.
  2. Course Details
  Private instruction in general Dari communication – 30 hours total
  15 sessions of 90 minutes each
  Teaching Format:
  In-person lessons preferred — no online lessons.
  Location Options:
  • at the teacher’s place, or at a neutral location such as a public library in Magdeburg
  3. Schedule & Availability
  Preferred Start Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2026, or the following week
  Weekly Rhythm:
  1 lesson per week, 90 minutes each
  Preferred Lesson Times:
  • generally flexible
  • on early-shift days, lessons are possible in the afternoon
  • on January 8 and 9, lessons can be held between 09:30 and 12:30
  The student works full-time in a shift system. A monthly schedule for January 2026 is attached so the instructor can identify suitable teaching days and coordinate accordingly.

  • Native Dari speaker or proven professional language proficiency
  • Experience teaching adult beginners
  • Ability to adapt lesson times to a shift-work schedule

  • Reliability and a structured teaching approach (A1–A2 level)

  • Teaching the fundamentals of spoken Dari
  • Listening comprehension and everyday communication
  • Essential vocabulary and practical daily‑life dialogues
  • Building confident, simple conversational skills in Dari
