Zusammenfassung

J&T Express Germany GmbH in Mainz is seeking an HSE Specialist to establish and develop our Health, Safety & Environment framework across Germany and Europe. You will drive HSE initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and help build a strong safety culture within a fast-growing international logistics organization.

The role requires 3+ years in HSE, knowledge of ISO 45001/14001, strong communication, and willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Successfully completed degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a comparable professional qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in HSE, occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a comparable role
• Practical experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems, policies, and standards
• Sound knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and German and European HSE regulations; experience with certification and audit processes is an advantage
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, internal audits, incident investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or another operational environment is preferred
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
• Independent, structured, and hands-on working style with strong team spirit, resilience, and flexibility
• Business fluent German and English are required. Chinese language skills are considered an advantage
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe

• Risk Management, Collaboration & Safety Culture - Establish and maintain processes for HSE risk identification, assessment, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis
• Organize safety inspections, internal audits, and HSE assessments while monitoring corrective and preventive actions
• Develop occupational health management processes and coordinate related risk assessments and monitoring activities
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and awareness initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Administration, and other stakeholders across Germany, Europe, and the Group Headquarters

Key Responsibilities

HSE Management & Compliance
