J&T Express Germany GmbH, based near Munich (Karlsfeld) with a role also covering Stuttgart, seeks an experienced HSE Specialist to build and advance Health, Safety and Environment programs across Germany and Europe. You will drive ISO 45001/14001, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture in a fast-growing international logistics group.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional HSE experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; German/European regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, and CAPA.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe.
• Fluency in German and English (Chinese a plus).

Join J&T Express as an HSE Specialist and become part of our growing team supporting our operations in Karlsfeld (near Munich) and Stuttgart. This position can be based near either of these locations. In this role, you will play a key role in establishing and continuously developing our Health, Safety & Environment framework across Germany and Europe, driving HSE initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping build a strong safety culture within a fast-growing international organization.

Key Responsibilities

HSE Management & Compliance

• Support the establishment and continuous development of the regional HSE management system across Europe
• Drive the implementation of Group HSE policies and develop regional HSE policies, procedures, standards, and documentation
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, environmental, and internal regulatory requirements
• Support environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, ESG reporting, and sustainability initiatives

Risk Management, Collaboration & Safety Culture

• Establish and maintain processes for HSE risk identification, assessment, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis
• Organize safety inspections, internal audits, and HSE assessments while monitoring corrective and preventive actionsDevelop occupational health management processes and coordinate related risk assessments and monitoring activities
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and awareness initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Administration, and other stakeholders across Germany, Europe, and the Group Headquarters

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a comparable professional qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in HSE, occupational health and safety, environmental management, or a comparable role
• Practical experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems, policies, and standards
• Sound knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and German and European HSE regulations; experience with certification and audit processes is an advantage
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, internal audits, incident investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or another operational environment is preferred
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
• Independent, structured, and hands-on working style with strong team spirit, resilience, and flexibility
• Business fluent German and English are required. Chinese language skills are considered an advantage
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe
