Become a part of our team!
We are looking for an experienced HRIS & Workday Functional Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen our global Workday team. Are you a Workday specialist who loves turning complex HR processes into clean, scalable solutions? Do you want to make a real mark on a global platform that is still being shaped? This might be exactly the right next step.
We went live with Workday in December 2025 across all our Business Units – HCM Core, Compensation, and Recruiting. Now we are stabilizing, optimizing, and getting ready to grow. Talent Optimization and Learning are next on the roadmap, and you will play a key role in making them happen. Be the expert others turn to when they need Workday to work the way the business actually needs it to.
Your Responsibilities
System Configuration
- Own and maintain the functional configuration of Workday – Business Processes, Organizational Structures, Security, and Reporting – across all global Business Units
- Configure and continuously improve Workday modules including HCM Core, Compensation, and Recruiting, with Talent Optimization and Learning to follow soon
Data Quality, Reporting & Analytics
- Build and develop reports and dashboards that provide HR Business Partners and leadership with real, actionable insights
- Plan, coordinate, and execute EIB uploads and mass data operations – from data preparation and validation through to loading and error resolution
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for HR data and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and managing global organizational structures in close collaboration with the Global HR Team
Functional Support & Consulting
- Be the expert for functional questions, system issues, and defect fixes from HR teams around the globe, providing both 1st and 2nd level support
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into smart, sustainable Workday solutions
- Identify system improvement opportunities, and recommend best practices based on Workday capabilities
- Liaise with the IT team and if required external partner, where Workday is a touchpoint.
Release Management & Change Management Support
- Support the biannual Workday releases – analyze the functional impact, coordinate testing, and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders
- Liaise with the Workday SME’s to identify and plan rollout of new functionality for their areas that generate added value for the user.
- Play an active role in rolling out Talent Optimization and Learning in 2026
- Contribute to change management, adoption campaigns, creation of training materials, and workshops in close collaboration with the Workday Product Owner
Governance & Documentation
- Support system audits, governance processes, and compliance requirements
- Build and maintain system documentation and a shared knowledge base
Your Profile
- Structured and independent working style with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach and the ability to drive topics forward with persistence and clarity
- Analytical approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy
- High intercultural competence and the ability to collaborate confidently with diverse stakeholders in international environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and advise stakeholders on best practices and system optimizations
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven hands-on Workday experience with solid technical understanding of HCM Core, Compensation, and Recruiting
- Extensive experience as Workday HR Administrator and Report Writer / Administrator
- Strong understanding of operational HR processes beyond system boundaries – you think in business logic, not in system logic
- Experience in a post-go-live Workday AMS or system support environment
- Experience with Workday Talent Optimization, Learning or Time and Absence is a strong advantage
- Workday certification (HCM, Recruiting, or Compensation) is a plus
- Business fluent in German and English (C1–C2)
Your Benefits
- 37-hour week with full-time contract
- 30 days of annual leave
- Hybrid working model with flexible working hours
- An international, globally operating team
- Attractive salary package and extra payments
- Individual professional development opportunities
- Company pension plan and health care
