MEININGER Hotels is seeking an HR Operations Partner (f/m/d) to be the primary contact for payroll, benefits, HR administration and policies. The role focuses on Italy and Berlin regions within a hybrid setup, supporting a rapidly expanding hospitality group.

Key responsibilities include governing the employee life cycle, drafting contracts, maintaining HRIS, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Fluency in English and Italian is required, with a strong Excel and HRIS proficiency.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in HR-related studies preferred.
• Experience managing employee life cycle from onboarding to exit, international HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of international employment practices and employee relations.

Aufgaben

• Lead full HR processes from hiring to exit in line with laws and MEININGER policies.
• Process monthly payroll across hotels in the region with accuracy and coordination with HR Regional Manager.
• Draft employment contracts and documents ensuring legal compliance and data accuracy.
• Maintain HRIS and employee data for assigned units.
• Identify turnover trends and advise on cost savings and process improvements.
• Produce HR data and management information weekly and monthly.
• Oversee visa applications and liaise with authorities to ensure compliance.

The MEININGER hotel group is looking for an HR Operations partner who will be the primary contact for all questions regarding payroll, benefits, HR administration and HR policies and procedures.

YOUR TASKS

• Carry out the full range of HR processes along the employee life-cycle from hiring to exit in line with Italian labor law regulations and MEININGER policies
• Processing the monthly payroll across the different hotels within your region ensuring a high standard of accuracy is maintained in liaison with the HR Regional Manager
• Draft employment contracts and related documents to ensure clarity and compliance with legal requirements and ensure data accuracy of all data processing generated by the function, including error correction and timely updating of lists
• Maintain HRIS and relevant employee data for assigned business units
• Work with the HR Regional Manager to identify trends and proactively address issues of high turnover, sickness, and cost savings opportunities for MEININGER
• Support the HR Regional Manager in the production of HR data and management information on a weekly and monthly basis
• Support the business with the production of HR data and management information regularly
• Oversee visa application processes and liaise with local administration to ensure compliance with labor regulations and declarations (work accident, social security etc)

YOUR PROFILE

• 1-2 years of relevant HR experience in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Preferably a Bachelor's degree (or other relevant qualification) in HR-related studies
• Solid experience in employee life cycle management from orientation to termination, international HR experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of international employment relations practices and practical experience in managing a range of employee relations matters
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at the same time and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of HRM systems and tools
• Business proficiency in English & Italian, any other language is a plus
