KERB Berlin is seeking a Host & Server to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a bustling Berlin location. You will work under the supervision of managers and a floor supervisor, ensuring top service while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and adherence to operational standards in both front and back of house.

Ideal candidates are passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere and can communicate effectively in German and English (B1+).

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate in German and English (minimum B1).
• Willingness to assist across front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Aufgaben

• Provide outstanding guest service and stay up to date with traders and offers.
• Maintain tables and cleaning stations, dispose of waste in line with sustainability goals.
• Assist opening/closing the location, including outdoor areas, and complete cleaning checklists.
• Uphold health and safety standards and report issues.
• Communicate clearly with traders, colleagues, and management – in person and via radio.
• Assist with private reservations and events; back-of-house support.

Description

As a Host & Server (m/f/d) at KERB Berlin, you play a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience. Under the guidance of the managers and together with your floor supervisor, you ensure excellent customer service while also taking care of cleanliness, safety, and adherence to operational standards in both the front and back of house. This position is perfect for you if you're passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere and keeping things running smoothly every day.

What you'll be doing

• Guest Service: Make sure to provide outstanding service, support our guests, and always stay up to date with our traders, their offers, and special features.
• Operations & Cleanliness: Keep tables clean and tidy, maintain cleaning stations, and dispose of waste and recycling materials in line with our sustainability goals.
• Opening & Maintenance: Help with opening and closing the location, including the outdoor area, and make sure all daily and weekly cleaning checklists are properly completed.
• Health & Safety: Make sure our health and safety standards are followed, report issues, and actively help solve them.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and efficiently with traders, colleagues, and management – both in person and over the radio.
• Events & Reservations: Help with the preparation and execution of private reservations and events. Back-of-House Support: Assist the team in keeping work areas clean, organized, and ready to go.

• Customer Service: Passion for outstanding hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences – in both German and English (at least B1 level).
• Hands-On Mentality: Willingness to pitch in in other areas of the operation when needed.
• Bonus: Experience in the hospitality industry, in bars, pubs, or venue management is a plus!
