KERB Berlin is hiring a Host & Server (m/f/d) to create an outstanding guest experience at our venue. Under the guidance of managers and with your floor supervisor, you’ll ensure excellent service while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and standard operations in front and back of house.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, able to work flexibly in a busy setting, and fluent in German and English (minimum B1). Join a vibrant team at the Berlin location.

Aufgaben

• Provide outstanding guest service and stay up to date with traders and offers.
• Keep tables clean, maintain cleaning stations, and dispose of waste and recycling materials responsibly.
• Open/close the location including the outdoor area and complete daily/weekly cleaning checklists.
• Follow health and safety standards, report issues and help solve them.
• Communicate clearly with traders, colleagues, and management – in person and over radio.
• Assist with private reservations and events; back-of-house support.

As a Host & Server (m/f/d) at KERB Berlin, you play a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience. Under the guidance of the managers and together with your floor supervisor, you ensure excellent customer service while also taking care of cleanliness, safety, and adherence to operational standards in both the front and back of house. This position is perfect for you if you're passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere and keeping things running smoothly every day.

What you'll be doing

• Guest Service: Make sure to provide outstanding service, support our guests, and always stay up to date with our traders, their offers, and special features.
• Operations & Cleanliness: Keep tables clean and tidy, maintain cleaning stations, and dispose of waste and recycling materials in line with our sustainability goals.
• Opening & Maintenance: Help with opening and closing the location, including the outdoor area, and make sure all daily and weekly cleaning checklists are properly completed.
• Health & Safety: Make sure our health and safety standards are followed, report issues, and actively help solve them.
• Communication: Communicate clearly and efficiently with traders, colleagues, and management – both in person and over the radio.
• Events & Reservations: Help with the preparation and execution of private reservations and events. Back-of-House Support: Assist the team in keeping work areas clean, organized, and ready to go.

What you'll bring to KERB

• Flexibility & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to act flexibly, think along, and proactively solve problems in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Customer Service: Passion for outstanding hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences – in both German and English (at least B1 level).
• Hands-On Mentality: Willingness to pitch in in other areas of the operation when needed.
• Bonus: Experience in the hospitality industry, in bars, pubs, or venue management is a plus!
