Job summary

q.beyond AG, a leading IT partner for SMEs, invites an experienced Head of Microsoft Business Applications to Hamburg. The role shapes strategy, builds a high-caliber Consulting & Development team, and delivers scalable Dynamics 365 solutions from consulting to managed services.

You will drive presales, design, and proposals while expanding Microsoft partnerships and guiding delivery excellence. German C1 and English B2 are required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem, ideally with a Microsoft partner, IT services provider or consulting firm, as well as several years of functional and/or disciplinary leadership experience.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and knowledge of several relevant areas, particularly Finance & Operations (F&O), Business Central and Customer Engagement (CE). In-depth expertise in at least one of these areas is desirable
• Proven experience in building or further developing a practice, business unit or team, including recruitment, employee development and knowledge building
• An entrepreneurial mindset and experience managing revenue, contribution margin, utilization, forecasting and other key performance indicators relevant to a consulting business
• A confident and professional presence in presales and customer management, with the ability to engage effectively with executive management, IT leaders and business stakeholders
• A strong network within the Microsoft partner ecosystem and knowledge of relevant Microsoft partner programs, particularly the Solutions Partner Designation and co-sell
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure integration, and Copilot and AI in the Dynamics 365 ecosystem is an advantage
• German language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency at B2 level

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement our strategy and service portfolio for Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a particular focus on Finance & Operations (F&O), Business Central and Customer Engagement (CE)
• Build, lead and develop a highly qualified consulting and development team comprising Solution Architects, Functional and Technical Consultants, and Developers
• Develop standardized and scalable Dynamics 365 solutions, ranging from consulting and implementation to application management and managed services
• Take responsibility for presales, solution design, effort estimations, proposals and customer development in close collaboration with our sales team
• Ensure professional, efficient and high-quality delivery while establishing standards, best practices and modern delivery methodologies
• Expand our Microsoft partnership in the Business Applications domain, particularly with regard to the Solutions Partner Designation, co‑sell opportunities and relevant partner programs
• Monitor and evaluate Microsoft's roadmap, particularly in the areas of Dynamics 365, Copilot and AI, and translate emerging technologies into innovative customer solutions and service offerings
• Take responsibility for the business unit's financial performance, particularly revenue, contribution margin, utilization and forecasting
• Represent q.beyond as a trusted Microsoft Business Applications partner to customers, Microsoft and the wider market
• Maintain continuous improvement through internal Academy and leadership development programs

You will take responsibility for the strategic and operational development of our Microsoft Business Applications business unit. In this role, you will combine entrepreneurial thinking, technological expertise and leadership.
