Job summary

q.beyond AG is hiring a (Senior) Consultant Microsoft Copilot & AI to drive AI adoption for European clients across Oberhausen, Cologne, and other locations. You will shape AI strategy, run workshops, and design innovative Copilot-based solutions within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration or related field.
• Several years of consulting experience in the Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace or Data & AI environments, with independent project management experience at senior level.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and the Power Platform; experience with Foundry or Azure OpenAI is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of generative AI, including prompt engineering, RAG and AI agents; awareness of opportunities and limits.
• Experience in business process analysis and modeling (e.g., BPMN) and translating tech solutions into measurable business value.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security and compliance, MS Purview, Entra ID, access control and data classification; regulatory familiarity advantageous.
• Confident presence across organizations with strong communication, solution orientation, and sales interest.
• Desirable Microsoft certifications such as AB-730, AB-731, AB-100 or PL-200.
• German C1 and English B2 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consulting on AI strategy and use cases within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Design and facilitate workshops from AI readiness to Copilot adoption.
• Analyze and redesign processes to maximize AI value.
• Design and implement AI solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Plan proofs of concept and pilot phases with KPI definitions for value realization.
• Ensure governance, security and compliance during AI adoption with MS Purview and Entra ID.
• Lead adoption and change management through enablement and training.
• Support presales with solution concepts, effort estimates and architecture presentations.

YOUR TASKS:

• Provide comprehensive consulting to customers on AI strategy and use cases within the Microsoft ecosystem, including identifying opportunities across the value chain and prioritizing them based on business value, feasibility and risk
• Design and facilitate workshops and envisioning sessions, ranging from AI readiness assessments and Copilot adoption to process discovery with business departments
• Analyze, optimize and redesign existing business processes by identifying automation opportunities and strategically applying AI to deliver measurable business value
• Design and implement innovative AI solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and the Power Platform, ranging from prompt libraries and AI agents to automated workflows, including the integration of enterprise data and Microsoft Foundry where required
• Plan and manage proofs of concept and pilot phases to validate AI solutions, including defining appropriate KPIs and measuring business value for executive management and business departments
• Ensure governance, security and compliance throughout AI adoption by establishing data readiness, implementing appropriate access control concepts and leveraging Microsoft Purview and Entra ID, while taking into account the requirements of the EU AI Act and GDPR
• Design and implement adoption and change management initiatives through enablement formats, training sessions and communication strategies to ensure the sustainable integration of AI into everyday work
• Support the sales team during presales activities by developing solution concepts, effort estimates, proposals and architecture presentations, identifying follow-up projects and building long-term customer partnerships

WHAT YOU BRING:

• A completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of consulting experience in the Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace or Data & AI environment, along with experience independently managing customer projects at senior level
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and the Power Platform; experience with Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI is an advantage
• A solid understanding of generative AI, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agents, as well as a realistic understanding of the opportunities, limitations and potential applications of these technologies
• Experience in business process analysis and modeling, for example using BPMN, and the ability to translate technological solutions into measurable business value
• Knowledge of AI governance, security and compliance, particularly Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, access control and data classification concepts, as well as regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act and GDPR, is an advantage
