The Bank operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.

Your role

Working within the Finance department of Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG in Germany, you will report to the Bank’s CFO. You will lead the three-person Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is responsible for providing senior management with insightful information and analysis on the Bank’s performance. In this role, you will take the lead on several key initiatives aimed at driving the Bank’s financial and strategic performance. Your responsibilities will include enhancing the management information system (MIS) and optimising the reporting process to ensure efficiency and accuracy. You will also focus on strengthening the Bank’s monthly performance analysis across business lines, which involves identifying and monitoring profitability drivers, implementing activity-based costing and ensuring effective budget monitoring. Additionally, you will work on improving financial forecasting capabilities and forward-looking analysis of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and prudential ratios. This includes conducting sensitivity analyses, scenario planning and stress tests, particularly in support of regulatory requirements such as the ICAAP and ILAAP, in collaboration with the Risk and Treasury departments. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the annual strategic planning and budgeting process in coordination with the Group Finance team and various business lines.
