As Head of Engineering, you will lead a team of 15 talented software developers and focus on the development of our state‑of‑the‑art e‑commerce webshop, working closely with cross‑functional teams including Platform Architecture, Data Services, Product Management and UX. This strategic leadership role ensures the scrum teams run smoothly, fosters a culture of continuous learning, and drives technical excellence in line with our platform strategy.

Your contribution to success
  • Leadership & Team Management : Lead, mentor and inspire a team of 15 developers in the Checkout and Transaction teams and ensure alignment with company goals and personal growth of team members
  • Collaboration & cross‑functional work : Work closely with product managers, architects and UX designers to set the technical direction and ensure the successful implementation of our digital solutions
  • Agile leadership : Lead multiple scrum teams with a focus on scalability, agile methodologies and fostering a culture of independence and innovation
  • Process improvement : Develop and optimize continuous development processes and ensure compliance with best practices in the areas of quality assurance, monitoring and incident management
  • Talent development : Support personal and professional development through coaching, onboarding and tailored training programs
  • Product Strategy : Drive product development in line with our platform strategy and ensure timely and effective delivery of high quality digital solutions
Your success factors
  • Technical expertise : Extensive experience in web development, software architecture, cloud infrastructure and test automation with in‑depth practical know‑how
  • Operations Mindset : You are a strong fit for the role if you have proven a positive impact on the availability and correctness of a high‑traffic, high‑revenue platform
  • Platform development : Ideally experience in building large‑scale e‑commerce platforms and in‑depth knowledge of key engineering metrics
  • Agile leadership : Proven experience in leading scrum teams and fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment
  • Stakeholder management : Ability to maintain cross‑functional relationships with key stakeholders and align business goals with technical delivery
