Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance, or Performance Management (3–6 years)
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering skills
• Proficiency in using finance systems and KPI-driven performance management approaches
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills; able to translate complex topics into clear insights
• German language at C1 and English at B2; strong collaboration across functions

As a Functional Controller (m/f/d), you turn financial data into meaningful business decisions. Working closely with our functional departments, you create transparency, provide insightful analyses, and play an active role in driving effective business performance and decision-making.

Your Mission

• Take ownership of the controlling activities for designated business and functional areas, supporting effective performance management
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses while ensuring transparency regarding cost development and key performance drivers
• Analyze financial and operational developments and derive meaningful recommendations to support management and business decision-making
• Prepare insightful management reports and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to functional departments on planning, budgeting, and performance-related topics
• Collaborate closely with Group Controlling, Accounting, and functional leadership to ensure consistent and aligned business performance management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting structures, and performance management tools

What You'll Bring to the Mission

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance, or Performance Management, ideally between three and six years
• Solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering
• Proficiency in using finance systems, reporting tools, and KPI-driven performance management approaches
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured working style and the ability to translate complex topics into clear business insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with management
• A high level of ownership, reliability, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to work
• Language requirements: German – C1, English – B2
