Job summary

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. You will deliver reliable financial reporting and support monthly and annual statements, while continuously improving accounting processes.

You will work across Finance and cross-functional teams, maintain data quality, and help prepare group-wide financial statements, with German C1 and English B2 language requirements.

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. Leveraging your expertise, you deliver reliable financial reporting, support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and continuously improve our accounting and finance processes.

Your Mission

• Perform accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, in compliance with defined standards, deadlines, and regulatory requirements


• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as financial reporting across the group


• Ensure accurate and compliant bookkeeping, including the documentation of business transactions and the maintenance of master and financial data


• Process and review accounting transactions in close collaboration with Finance colleagues and cross-functional business teams


• Contribute to maintaining high data quality and continuously improving accounting processes, transparency, and process reliability


• Prepare and analyze relevant financial information to support internal and external reporting requirements
