Job summary

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH (MBS) seeks a Group Controller to be the central partner for the Group’s finances. You will consolidate financial information, monitor performance, and provide insightful reporting to support management decisions.

You will coordinate planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all entities, develop standards and KPI frameworks, and collaborate with local teams to ensure integrated financial steering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in controlling, financial planning, or group reporting.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance and management reporting.
• Experience in consolidating complex financial information and preparing management-oriented reports.
• Experience in developing and improving controlling processes, reporting structures, and KPI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead group controlling activities and provide a consolidated financial view across the entire Group.
• Coordinate and consolidate group-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across all legal entities.
• Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and decision-relevant financial insights while monitoring financial performance and identifying risks, trends, and significant deviations.
• Further develop controlling standards, reporting structures, and KPI frameworks to ensure consistent financial steering across the Group.
• Collaborate closely with local controlling teams, Accounting, and Finance Leadership to ensure integrated financial steering and decision support.
