Zusammenfassung

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH (MBS) sucht einen Functional Controller (m/f/d), der Finanzdaten in aussagekräftige Geschäftsentscheidungen übersetzt und eng mit Fachbereichen Transparenz schafft. Sie entwickeln Performance-Lösungen und unterstützen entscheidungsrelevante Prozesse.

Sie übernehmen Budgetierung, Forecasting, Abweichungsanalysen und Reporting, arbeiten KPI-getrieben und fungieren als Finance Business Partner für das Management.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder vergleichbar mit Fokus Controlling/Finanzen.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Controlling, Finance oder Performance Management (3–6 Jahre).
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Budgetierung, Forecasting, Abweichungsanalysen und Business Partnering.

Aufgaben

• Eigenverantwortliche Controlling-Aktivitäten für zugeordnete Geschäftsbereiche.
• Erstellung von Budgets, Forecasts und Abweichungsanalysen mit Transparenz zu Kostenentwicklung und KPIs.
• Analyse finanzieller und operativer Entwicklungen; Ableitung von Empfehlungen.
• Erstellung aussagekräftiger Management-Reports und Übersetzung komplexer Finanzdaten in klare Insights.
• Finance Business Partner für Fachabteilungen bei Planung, Budgetierung und Performance.
• Enger Austausch mit Group Controlling, Accounting und Fachverantwortlichen für ein abgestimmtes Controlling.

As a Functional Controller (m/f/d), you turn financial data into meaningful business decisions. Working closely with our functional departments, you create transparency, provide insightful analyses, and play an active role in driving effective business performance and decision-making.

Your Mission

• Take ownership of the controlling activities for designated business and functional areas, supporting effective performance management
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses while ensuring transparency regarding cost development and key performance drivers
• Analyze financial and operational developments and derive meaningful recommendations to support management and business decision-making
• Prepare insightful management reports and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to functional departments on planning, budgeting, and performance-related topics
• Collaborate closely with Group Controlling, Accounting, and functional leadership to ensure consistent and aligned business performance management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, reporting structures, and performance management tools

What You\'ll Bring to the Mission

• Bachelor's or Master\'s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Controlling, Finance, or Performance Management, ideally between three and six years
• Solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering
• Proficiency in using finance systems, reporting tools, and KPI-driven performance management approaches
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured working style and the ability to translate complex topics into clear business insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with management
• A high level of ownership, reliability, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to work
• Language requirements: German  – C1, English – B2
