Job summary

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. You will deliver reliable financial reporting and support monthly and annual statements, while continuously improving accounting processes.

You will work across Finance and cross-functional teams, maintain data quality, and help prepare group-wide financial statements, with German C1 and English B2 language requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Meticulous, structured, and compliant working style.
• Strong data quality and master data management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with Finance teams.
• Language requirements: German – C1, English – B2

Responsibilities

• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations in compliance with standards and deadlines.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and group reporting.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of master and financial data.
• Process and review accounting transactions in close collaboration with Finance and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes, transparency, and reliability.
• Prepare and analyze financial information to support internal and external reporting.
