Zusammenfassung

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH is seeking a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. You will deliver reliable financial reporting, support monthly and annual statements, and continuously improve accounting processes within a mid-sized, owner-managed company with 45+ years in satellite and space technology.

You will perform journal entries and reconciliations, maintain master data, and collaborate with Finance teams across our European footprint.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual statements.
• Meticulous, structured and self-driven with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Experience with financial systems and data quality management.

• Excellent communication and collaboration with Finance teams.

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting. Leveraging your expertise, you deliver reliable financial reporting, support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, and continuously improve our accounting and finance processes.

Your Mission

• Perform accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations, in compliance with defined standards, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as financial reporting across the group
• Ensure accurate and compliant bookkeeping, including the documentation of business transactions and the maintenance of master and financial data
• Process and review accounting transactions in close collaboration with Finance colleagues and cross-functional business teams
• Contribute to maintaining high data quality and continuously improving accounting processes, transparency, and process reliability
• Prepare and analyze relevant financial information to support internal and external reporting requirements

• Proven experience in accounting and finance, with a solid background in performing accounting activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• A meticulous, structured, and self-driven working style with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Proficiency in working with financial systems, combined with a strong understanding of data quality and master data management
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuously improving and streamlining accounting processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Language requirements: German – C1, English – B2
