Job summary

Media Broadcast Satellite GmbH (MBS) is seeking a finance-oriented professional to join the team in Germany. You will review, code, and post invoices, and reconcile accounts receivable, payable, and general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.

You will support payment processing and the AR collection process, with opportunities to contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. A commercial finance background and proficiency in Excel/ERP are required.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency at C1 and English at B2.
• Experience in accounting or trainee positions is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Excel and ERP or accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and post invoices; reconcile AR, AP and GL accounts.
• Process payments and manage accounts receivable collection.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Your Mission

Your responsibilities include reviewing, coding, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices, as well as reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts. You will also prepare and process payment transactions and manage the accounts receivable collection process. In addition, you will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

What You'll Bring to the Mission

• Successfully completed commercial vocational training with a focus on finance or accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Initial practical experience in accounting, for example through vocational training, internships, or working student positions, is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ideally, initial experience working with an ERP or accounting system
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work
• A collaborative mindset, initiative, and a reliable work ethic
• Language requirements: German - C1, English - B2
