Platanus Schule in Berlin seeks an Office Administrator who speaks German or English to join the school office. The role covers front desk, records, attendance, and daily administration.
The ideal candidate has completed training as an office administrator or a foreign language secretary and is proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and MS Teams, with strong communication in German and English.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced German- or English-speaking Office Administrator to join our office team in administration and the school office. The position is initially a parental leave cover, with the option of an extension.
We offer a full-time or part-time position with 35–40 hours per week. Depending on the area of responsibility, working hours start at 7:45 or 8:00 am.
Following a thorough induction into our office, school and administrative procedures, you will take on your own areas of responsibility. At the same time, our diverse school environment regularly brings new projects and tasks that can be taken on in addition to the recurring responsibilities.
Depending on your skills, experience and interests, these tasks are distributed within the office team. This makes the position varied, responsible and diverse, offering an exciting role in a lively school environment.
Have you completed training as an office administrator or training as a foreign language secretary? In addition, you have a solid background in both office and administrative activities as well as in customer contact, with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook) and MS Teams? You are very familiar and open to new digital application programs?
You have native level or at least C1- language skills in German or English and good language skills in the other language? You also have organizational talent, team spirit, commitment, communication skills, willingness to learn, flexibility and independence?
