imes-icore GmbH invites applications for a Field Service Technician in the Nuremberg area. You will perform commissioning, maintenance, repairs and servicing of dental milling and CAD/CAM systems at customer sites, and you’ll train customers on operation.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, industrial mechanics, or comparable qualification.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ within defined travel area.
• Experience in technical field service, mechanical engineering or maintenance preferred.
• Strong technical understanding with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of CNC, milling or CAD/CAM systems is a plus.
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with our machines and continuously develop skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Very good German; basic English; Class B driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Independently diagnosing faults, analyzing malfunctions, and troubleshooting technical issues on machines and components
• Training customers on basic operation and explaining the technical work performed
• Structured preparation, execution, and documentation of service calls
• Close collaboration with Technical Service and Pre- and After-Sales Team
• Providing feedback on technical insights from the field to improve products and services
• Independently planning and organizing service calls within the assigned area
• Primary service area based on residence with nationwide service calls possible
• Opportunity for international service assignments if interested

Field Service Technician (m/f/d) - Area Nuremberg

Responsibilities

• Performing commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and servicing of dental milling and CAD/CAM systems at customer sites
• Independently diagnosing faults, analyzing malfunctions, and troubleshooting technical issues on machines and associated system components
• Training customers on basic operation and explaining the technical work performed
• Structured preparation, execution, and documentation of service calls
• Close collaboration with Technical Service and the Pre- and After-Sales Team
• Providing feedback on technical insights from the field to continuously improve our products and service processes
• Independently planning and organizing service calls within your assigned service area
• Your primary service area will be based on your place of residence or location and will constitute the majority of your duties. In addition, nationwide service calls may be required as needed
• If interested, there is also the opportunity for international service assignments

Profile of requirements

• Completed technical vocational training, for example in electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, industrial mechanics, or a comparable qualification
• Willingness to travel more than 75% of the time, primarily within the defined travel area
• Ideally, experience in technical field service, mechanical engineering, or maintenance
• Very strong technical understanding, along with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Knowledge of CNC, milling, or CAD/CAM systems is a plus
• Willingness to thoroughly familiarize yourself with our machines, technologies, and applications and to continuously develop your skills
• Strong customer and service orientation, as well as a professional demeanor when interacting with customers
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Very good written and spoken German
• Basic written and spoken English
• Class B driver’s license
