imes-icore GmbH in Eiterfeld is seeking a Software Tester (m/f/d) to join our growing team. You will plan and execute manual and automated tests, accept new releases with the development team, and work in Scrum using modern development methods.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing manual and automated tests
• Accepting new releases in close collaboration with our development team
• Working according to Scrum and using the latest state-of-the-art development methods
• Creating and reviewing test concepts, test plans, and test cases
• Taking on responsibility, e.g., for planning and coordinating cross-departmental tests
• Participation in the design and improvement of existing processes

Profile of requirements

• Training as an IT specialist for system integration, technician (focus on computer science) or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in testing software in an industrial environment (front end and back end) and with relational databases is desirable.
• Confident use of Microsoft operating systems
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Quick comprehension and a high degree of attention to detail, e.g. in the area of usability
