Vetaphone A/S is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Germany and Benelux. You will combine hands-on service at customer sites with remote support as part of the global Customer Helpdesk.

The role covers Germany, the Benelux countries, and nearby regions, with occasional international travel. You will install, commission, and start up systems, troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualificações

Vetaphone is a Danish, family-owned company and a global leader in corona and plasma surface treatment technology, serving customers worldwide in the printing, converting, and packaging industries.

We are looking for a skilled and independent Field Service Engineer to strengthen our European service organisation.

Your role

You will combine hands-on technical service at customer sites with remote technical support as part of our global Customer Helpdesk.

Your primary service area will cover Germany, the Benelux countries and neighboring regions, with occasional international travel for special projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation, commissioning, and start-up of corona and plasma treatment systems.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance and technical inspections.
• Providing technical guidance and training to customers.
• Supporting our global Customer Helpdesk with remote troubleshooting and technical support when not travelling.
• Documenting service activities and collaborating with colleagues across our international organisation.

Frequent travel and overnight hotel stays are an essential part of the position. When not visiting customers, you will work from your home office.

Your profile

• A strong customer service mindset and a natural desire to help others.
• Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn new technologies.
• Technical education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read electrical diagrams.
• A practical, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in German and English is required. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.

Experience with industrial machinery, field service, power electronics, or the printing and converting industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
