A&O Hotels and Hostels Holding AG is seeking a motivated F&B Assistant for full-time work in Köln. You will join the kitchen and bar, support daily operations, and help manage breakfast and dinner service while upholding hygiene and quality standards.

You should have some hospitality experience and good German and English; willingness to work hands-on and as part of a team is essential. Training and meals are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Some experience in gastronomy or hospitality desirable.
• German and English skills are good; other languages welcome.

Aufgaben

• Work in kitchen and bar and participate in day-to-day operations, including cleaning.
• Prepare and maintain the breakfast buffet.
• Enforce HACCP and quality standards in kitchen and bar.
• Oversee pantry, stocktaking, and ordering of goods.
• Store goods after delivery and manage inventory.
• Assist in menu planning for the dinner buffet.
• Supervise scheduling for kitchen and bar staff.

YOUR JOB

• You will be employed in the in kitchen and bar and will actively participate in the day business; including the daily cleaning work
• Preparation and taking care of the breakfast-buffet are also amongst your tasks
• Imposing quality- and HACCP-standards in kitchen and bar is your responsibility
• Pantry and stocktaking are your responsibility: you check food- and beverage-storage and inventory and order new products if necessary
• You put the goods away on delivery
• You draw up the menu for our dinner-buffet
• You supervise scheduling for kitchen- and bar-crew

YOUR PROFILE

• Reliability, quality awareness and flexibility are only some of your core characteristics
• Regarding your work, you show a strong willingness to commit and to work independently
• You are a hands-on doer who tackles and spreads good spirits even in stressful situations
• Some experience in gastronomy or hospitality are desirable, but not a must
• Your German and English skills are good, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
