Zusammenfassung

a&o Hostels in Köln sucht eine/n F&B Assistant (m/w/x) in Vollzeit. Sie arbeiten in Küche und Bar und unterstützen den täglichen Betrieb inklusive Reinigungsarbeiten.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören Frühstücksbuffet, HACCP-Standards, Warenannahme, Inventur, Menu-Erstellung für das Dinner-Buffet und die Schichtplanung. Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind wünschenswert; Teamgeist zählt.

Qualifikationen

• Zuverlässigkeit, Qualitätsbewusstsein und Flexibilität als Kernmerkmale.
• Bereitschaft, eigenständig zu arbeiten.
• Hands-on-Macher mit guter Stimmung auch in stressigen Situationen.
• Erfahrung in Gastronomie oder Gastgewerbe ist wünschenswert, aber kein Muss.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Sprachen vorteilhaft.

Aufgaben

• Mitwirkung im Küchen- und Barbetrieb sowie tägliche Reinigungsarbeiten.
• Vorbereitung und Betreuung des Frühstücksbuffets.
• Sicherung von HACCP-Standards in Küche und Bar.
• Warenannahme, Lagerung und Inventur, Bestellung neuer Produkte.
• Wareneingang erledigen.
• Menü für Abendbuffet erstellen.
• Schichtplanung für Küche und Bar überwachen.

YOUR JOB

• You will be employed in the in kitchen and bar and will actively participate in the day business; including the daily cleaning work
• Preparation and taking care of the breakfast-buffet are also amongst your tasks
• Imposing quality- and HACCP-standards in kitchen and bar is your responsibility
• Pantry and stocktaking are your responsibility: you check food- and beverage-storage and inventory and order new products if necessary
• You put the goods away on delivery
• You draw up the menu for our dinner-buffet
• You supervise scheduling for kitchen- and bar-crew

YOUR PROFILE

• Reliability, quality awareness and flexibility are only some of your core characteristics
• Regarding your work, you show a strong willingness to commit and to work independently
• You are a hands-on doer who tackles and spreads good spirits even in stressful situations
• Some experience in gastronomy or hospitality are desirable, but not a must
• Your German and English skills are good, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
