Experienced Legal Counsel (f/m/d) M&A

A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will advise Siemens Energy’s global businesses on complex M&A and corporate law matters, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel. Your day may include structuring and negotiating international transactions, providing pragmatic legal guidance on strategic decisions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across regions. You will play a key role in enabling business‑critical initiatives by delivering clear, commercially sound legal solutions in a dynamic, international environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Advising Siemens Energy Group worldwide on all legal matters related to mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law
  • Structuring, advising on, and negotiating national and international M&A transactions, including acquisitions, (public) takeovers, divestitures, carve‑outs, and joint ventures
  • Providing guidance on a broad range of corporate law topics
  • Acting as the central point of contact for Siemens Energy’s corporate and business units as well as external partners on legal M&A and corporate matters
  • Selecting, instructing, and supervising external legal counsel worldwide
What You Bring
  • Successfully completed German law studies (two state examinations) with outstanding results
  • Long‑term professional experience in an international law firm or in the legal department of an international company
  • In‑depth knowledge of M&A transactions and corporate law matters
  • Strong commercial and business‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent ability to present complex topics clearly and concisely, combined with a confident and convincing professional demeanor
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, highly proactive and analytical, results‑oriented, and a strong team player in a multinational, diverse environment
