Are you ready to take a key role in ensuring supplier excellence for critical nuclear projects? Join our team in Korschenbroich, Germany and make a meaningful impact on supplier performance, quality standards, and continuous improvement across Europe.

This role focuses on ensuring supplier performance and compliance with quality standards and nuclear codes, while driving continuous improvement and cost reduction. Regular visits to supplier sites, primarily in Germany, but also across Europe and occasionally worldwide, are required.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
  • Supplier Monitoring: Ensure supplier performance meets requirements through inspections, follow‑ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Quality Management: Define monitoring levels, conduct inspections, and manage corrective actions to ensure nuclear safety and compliance.
  • Performance Reporting: Lead supplier performance reviews and implement action plans to reduce quality costs.
  • Documentation Management: Approve nuclear purchase orders, quality plans, technical programs, and specifications.
  • Non‑Conformance Resolution: Process supplier deviations, non‑conformities, and combat counterfeit, fraudulent, and suspect items cases following established procedures.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure supplier qualifications and certifications are up to date in the database.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across Emerson locations, global supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve supplier issues.
  • Future Growth: Be trained to audit suppliers for compliance with nuclear codes and standards.

You are a detail‑oriented professional with strong leadership skills, committed to driving quality excellence and supplier performance. You partner with others to get work done by actively listening, checking for understanding, and anticipating customer needs to provide services beyond expectations. When faced with difficulties or obstacles, you take constructive action to navigate and resolve them effectively.

For This Role, You Will Need :

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of codes, quality standards and directives applicable to the scope of responsibility (PED / ATEX, CU‑TR, ASME, EN, ASTM, UKCA, RCC‑M, RCC‑E, ESPN...).

Advanced proficiency in MS Office for analysis and reporting.

Fluency in German and English language is a requirement.

Ability to extensively travel in Germany and wider Europe.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :
  • Experience with forging processes.
  • NDE (non‑destructive examination) experience.
  • ERP tools experience (Oracle, SAP).
  • French language skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams.
