A day in the life

As a Site Process Engineer your day begins with analyzing performance data from previous shifts quickly identifying areas needing attention. Youll spend time on the Fulfillment Center floor observing processes firsthand and connecting with associates to understand their daily challenges. One moment you might be brainstorming with your team about implementing a new robotics solution the next you could be leading a workshop helping operations leaders adopt best practices. Your problem-solving skills come into play as you tackle real-time challenges while your afternoons often involve collaborating with colleagues across Europe to share insights and align on network-wide improvements. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to innovate in one of the worlds most advanced logistics networks.

The Process Engineering team drives operational excellence in Amazons European Fulfillment Centers. We collaborate closely with multiple teams across Amazon from operations to robotics ensuring our Fulfillment Centers operate at peak efficiency. Qualifications
  • University degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
  • Experience with data analysis and project management
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
  • Extensive experience in Process Engineering Quality Operations or Logistics
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Experience in logistics or e-commerce operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate a team.
