A well-established international consumer organisation is seeking an experienced EU Government Affairs Manager to lead its advocacy and public policy engagement across the European Union.

This is a senior, high-impact role for a government affairs professional with deep EU institutional knowledge and a strong track record navigating complex regulatory environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engagement with EU institutions, Member State authorities and key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement an EU-wide government affairs and advocacy strategy
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory developments impacting consumer, wellness and regulated product sectors
  • Represent the organisation within relevant European trade associations
  • Partner closely with internal regulatory, legal and global public affairs teams
  • Manage external public affairs advisors and agencies
  • Prepare policy briefings and strategic updates for senior leadership
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in EU government affairs / public policy / regulatory advocacy
  • Proven experience working with EU institutions and industry bodies
  • Background in regulated sectors such as consumer goods, cosmetics, supplements or life sciences
  • Strong strategic, analytical and stakeholder-management skills
  • Fluent English essential; additional European languages advantageous
