Dear Applicant, for one of our Germany-based clients we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. As a part of the client\'s team, you will develop and maintain software for novel laser direct exposure machines and their connection to the factory.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the definition of requirements and concepts for machine functions/features in close cooperation with product owners and/or other specialist departments
  • Support for solution finding and development (independent planning and documentation) of software for complex systems
  • Independent implementation as well as testing and testing of software on the machines
  • Creation and execution of unit tests as well as system integration tests
  • Implementation / support of SW quality management

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering, computer science or a comparable (scientific) qualification and/or comparable professional experience
  • Very good knowledge of C# development (. NET Framework >=4)
  • Knowledge of at least one of the areas: GUI (WPF, MVVM, Unity, Prism), hardware communication and abstraction, IPC (gRPC, serialisation, factory connection)
  • Ideally, experience with solutions in Visual Studio
  • Ideally, knowledge of version control: e.g. Git, SVN
  • Ideally, experience in dealing with continuous integration (CI) and DevOps
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Flexibility, inititive and teamwork
