Job summary

GRANDIR in Germany is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood educator to join our bilingual daycare teams. You will plan and implement group routines, activities, and projects, and support acclimatization for new children.

Fluent English at C1/C2 is required, with a degree in ECE or related field. You will engage with parents and colleagues to nurture a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Also accepting applications from those who have a degree/certificate in psychology, social work, primary education, or early years care.
• Proven working experience with children (preferred).
• An open minded, creative and highly motivated individual with a positive attitude to work following a daily nursery/daycare routine.
• Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills with excellent communication for colleagues, parents and children.
• Excellent English knowledge (Level C1/C2) required.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of the group's daily routine and childcare care activities.
• Exposing the children to other cultures and target language.
• Regular communication with parents and fostering positive relationships with them.
• Work according to the co-construction approach and implementation of free play.
• Working according to the bilingual concept: One person, one language.
• Planning and implementation of projects and educational activities.
• Implementation of the acclimatization phase for new children.
• Active participation in team meetings (your own group and the larger team).
