Confidential Client in Frankfurt, Germany seeks an experienced Data Centre Manager to own the operational, financial, and strategic performance of a major facility. The role reports on-site 24/7 but is not shift-based and has no on-call requirements.

You will lead all technical, operational, and commercial activities in a high-profile data centre environment, engaging directly with clients and stakeholders while guiding budgets and teams to excellence.

Are you an experienced Data Centre Operations Leader looking for the opportunity to take full ownership of a high-profile mission-critical facility?

We are supporting a leading organisation within the data centre sector in their search for a Data Centre Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and strategic performance of a major facility in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Opportunity

As the senior leader on site, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all technical, operational, and commercial activities across a 24/7 critical environment. This position offers significant autonomy, leadership responsibility, and direct client engagement within one of Europe's fastest-growing data centre markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations and ensure service excellence across a critical data centre environment.
• Hold overall responsibility for site performance, compliance, operational delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage substantial operational and capital budgets, including full P&L responsibility.
• Lead, develop, and mentor multidisciplinary technical and operational teams.
• Drive best practice across health & safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary client stakeholder and trusted advisor.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, efficiencies, and service delivery.
• Manage key subcontractors, suppliers, and service partners.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading operations within a data centre, critical infrastructure, facilities management, or mission-critical environment.
• Previous responsibility for P&L management and commercial performance.
• Strong people leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
• Solid understanding of operational maintenance, facilities management, or engineering services.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Experience working within fast-paced, growth-oriented organisations.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

Package

• Base salary up to €100,000 depending on experience.
• Annual bonus of 10%.
