Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to run the Stuttgart data centre site. You will be the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders, coordinating external agencies and contractors to keep the site running.

You will lead a small team in a fast-moving start-up environment, shaping processes and standards as the business grows. 2–3 years of data centre experience and a German B2 level are required.

Qualifications

• German at B2 level or above.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Experience coordinating external agencies and contractors.
• Ability to take ownership of running a site day to day.
• Based in, or able to commute to, Heidelberg.
• 2–3 years of data centre experience.
• Background in a smaller data centre or in-house corporate environment (auto/industrial).
• Comfortable in a startup environment where processes are still being built.

A growing data centre operator is looking for a Critical Facilities Manager to run its site in Stuttgart. You'll take ownership of the facility day to day, acting as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders while coordinating the external agencies and contractors who keep the site running.

This is a rare chance to lead a whole site in a young, fast-moving business, rather than owning a small slice of a large operation. You'll work alongside a team that already has strong data centre experience, and you'll have real influence over how processes and standards are built as the company grows. Attitude, ownership and a genuine service mindset count for as much here as years in the industry.
