To strengthen our international logistics team we are looking for an experienced professional in customs and foreign trade.

Purpose of the Role

Ensure customs compliance for imports from non-EU countries and support export processes. This role plays a key part in meeting legal requirements and actively contributes to the optimization and implementation of efficient customs procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations (import & export)
  • Manage and monitor import processes in collaboration with external partners
  • Prepare and submit export declarations via the ATLAS system
  • Implement and optimize internal customs procedures
  • Support and oversee customs audits
  • Communicate with customs authorities freight forwarders and internal departments
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of customs-related documentation
  • Collaborate within the international logistics team
Requirements
  • Completed apprenticeship or a bachelors degree with a focus on foreign trade logistics or customs
  • Several years of professional experience in customs processing and foreign trade
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations (especially imports from third countries)
  • Proficient in using ATLAS software
  • Excellent English skills both written and spoken (working language in the international team)
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Independent structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Experience in supporting customs audits is a plus
