Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of onshore wind projects across Germany. Based in Frankfurt, you will manage construction activities from pre‑construction planning through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities for onshore wind projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, health and safety standards, and contractual requirements.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring effective coordination and communication throughout the construction process.
• Lead construction planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring from early mobilisation to project completion.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for technical, commercial, and stakeholder matters during construction.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on timelines and technical requirements.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and adherence to permitting and regulatory conditions.
• Troubleshoot construction‑related issues and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise construction processes and outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in managing onshore wind construction projects in Germany is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, oversee complex site operations, and maintain control of timelines and budgets.

• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Germany.
