Job summary

HPTec GmbH in Ravensburg is seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator & Setter (m/f/d) to join the production team. You will independently set up, prepare, and program CNC-controlled machines to manufacture high-precision tools according to technical drawings and orders.

The role requires several years of experience in operating and programming CNC machines, reading technical drawings accurately, and willingness to work in a three-shift system.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession (CNC Machinist or Toolmaker).
• Several years of professional experience operating and programming CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and program CNC-controlled machines independently.
• Manufacture precision tools according to drawings, specs and orders while meeting deadlines.
• Inspect manufactured workpieces using measuring microscopes, laser devices, and other instruments.
• Monitor and control production processes and machine operations.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications.
• Maintain consistent quality of produced tools.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently set up, prepare, and program CNC-controlled machines
• Manufacture precision tools according to technical drawings, dimensional specifications, and production orders while meeting deadlines
• Accurately inspect manufactured workpieces using measuring microscopes, measuring systems, mechanical measuring instruments, and laser measuring devices
• Monitor and control production processes and machine operations
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings in accordance with specifications
• Continuously ensure the quality of manufactured tools

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, such as CNC Machinist or Toolmaker (m/f/d)
• Several years of professional experience operating and programming CNC machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system
• Independent, precise, and reliable approach to work
