Job summary

persona service AG & Co. KG is seeking a skilled CNC programmer and machinist to independently programme CNC machines with Heidenhain controls for individual parts and small batches. You will set up machines, select tools and parameters, monitor the process, and optimise the programs.

Experience with large, heavy turned parts and reading technical drawings is essential. A valid German work permit and shift flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in a relevant craft (industrial mechanic, toolmaker or machinist) required.
• Experience in CNC programming and Heidenhain controls.
• Experience in manufacturing large and heavy turned parts.
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and working to them.
• Basic German language skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines and configure them for each order.
• Program and monitor machining processes; optimise programs as needed.
• Select tools, clamping devices, and machine parameters.
• Measure and inspect finished parts with appropriate equipment.
• Identify deviations early and correct to meet quality specs.

Job description

You will independently programme CNC machines with Heidenhain controls for individual parts and small batches You will machine large and heavy turned parts on CNC lathes in accordance with drawings and specifications You set up the machines and configure them to suit the respective order You select tools, clamping devices and machine parameters and adjust them accordingly During production, you monitor the machining process and optimise the programmes where necessary You measure and inspect the finished workpieces using suitable measuring and testing equipment You identify deviations at an early stage and correct them to ensure that quality specifications are met You have completed an apprenticeship as a industrial mechanic (m/f/d), toolmaker (m/f/d) or machinist (m/f/d) You have experience in CNC programming, for example using Heidenhain you have experience in the manufacture of large and heavy turned parts you are experienced in the safe handling of measuring and testing equipment you are also able to read technical drawings and work to them You have a basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written You are willing to work shifts Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you Team spirit, commitment, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strengths A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile Long-term assignment with a very high likelihood of permanent employment Established company in a strong financial position
